White Lies guitar chords and lyrics

White Lies chords

One of the musical collectives whose surge of fame started right after the beginning of their career, was White Lies. They appeared in 2007 in London, but the two first singles were released only two years after it. These tracks were called "Unfinished Business" and "Death". They became so beloved, that helped White Lies to become known in the whole Britain and North America. In 2009 they performed on the BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend as a headliner. The next two singles made White Lies well-known and gave them the opportunity to tour around the world. And the debut album appeared at the top of UK Albums Chart. After this success White Lies were considered the most perspective musical band.

As for the musical style, it wasn't so unambiguous. Their first releases were thought as dance indie, but then some dark notes were added to the compositions. To add to this, people compared the voice and the manner of singing of the vocalist Harry McVeigh with the legendary Ian Curtis (Joy Division's vocalist), though he says that band wasn't his ideal.

Are White Lies valued appropriately? They had some nominations – MOJO Honorous List and Q Awards. And they also got NME Award and MTV Europe Music Awards.

Though White Lies didn't produce very much music, their vocalist's manner of singing is quite unusual and deserves to be imitated with some training aims.
