Paramore is an American rock band founded in 2004. There was an interesting story behind the choice of the name of the band — Paramore is the maiden name of the mother of a mutual friend of the musicians. They liked its sound and meaning, so the name stuck.

Paramore's first song was Conspiracy. Later it was appeared on the band's debut album. For two years, the band performed at various festivals until it was noticed by the Fueled by Ramen label. The executive director was impressed with the live performance, so he agreed to give the contract.

Shortly thereafter, Paramore begun to recording their first album, All We Know Is Falling. Despite seeming success, bassist Jeremy Davis was forced to leave the band because of problems in his family. As a result, a song All We Know was dedicated to him.

In 2006, Paramore started a tour in the UK. Thanks to the concert success and the recording of several covers, the band was recognized as the best new band by the authoritative journal Kerrang. Then the band began recording their second album.

The next record sold 44,000 copies in the first week. But also the first difficulties were appeared — guitarist Hunter Lamb left the band. The third album Paramore came out no less successful, but a few months after its release, it became known that two more members were leaving the band.

The band went on to release two more albums, but fans noted that their sound was different from what they expected. Luckily for them, vocalist Hayley Williams announced that Paramore's sixth record will return to its roots, that is, the punk rock genre.
